The Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation, in partnership with CNP and the SERO Project, is excited to present "Stuck in the 80s" Night on February 28, 2024 – an event filled with music, conversation, and community, shedding light on the issue of HIV criminalization. CNP invites you to join us to celebrate nine years of service and impact. Our annual anniversary celebration is an opportunity for us to look back at our work, so far, and look forward as we shape our destiny. We also use this time as a way to honor folks who are shifting the narrative.

The CNP Narrative Leadership Institute is a program where we train individuals on various aspects of storytelling to advance social change. These trainings are organized into “labs.” These Leadership Lab workshops will be a place for folks, at all levels, to play and explore aspects of creative writing.

Discussing the disproportionate impact of Mpox on Black men living with HIV.

“Of the 38 people who have had a Mpox-related death, in the United States, almost 90% were Black men who had sex with men, and most were also living with HIV.”

This sobering quote is taken from the article "Black Queer Men with HIV: America's Vulnerable Frontline in Mpox Outbreak" by Dr. Deion Hawkins.

While Mpox has seemed to fade from public consciousness, its impact on Black gay, bisexual and other men who have sex with men is being revealed.

Why isn't there more reporting on this impact and intersections? How can we protect ourselves from the next outbreak?
